Fixing Your Golf Swing - 3 Golf Swing Flaws You Are Probably Making and Do Not Even Know It!

The golf swing can be fairly complex, which is why it is vital to keep the swing as simple as possible. In this article I am going to share with you 3 common golf swing flaws, and what you can do right now to start fixing your golf swing.

1. The first golf swing flaw that is very common starts with the grip. Now this is not a swing flaw per se, but the wrong grip can lead to terrible results. It is important that you grip the golf club lightly, as if you are just holding on, but not putting a death grip on the club. In addition, you should make sure that your hands are in the right position. When you look down, you should 2 or maybe three knuckles on your left hand, and make sure to grip the club more in the fingers as opposed to the palms.

2. Another common flaw is the inside takeaway. Trust me, this alone can be the death of your golf swing. It gets you in such a poor position going back that it becomes very hard to make solid contact with the ball on a consistent basis. Even when you do, there is no telling where it is going to go because an inside takeaway makes it very difficult to square the club face at impact.

3. Another common flaw in the golf swing is starting your downswing with your arms, as opposed to your hips. Some people will say that you should try to overpower the golf ball, however this simply does not work. Starting your downswing with the hips allows you to get the club coming down on the correct swing path, which will produce better shots time after time.
